Carbon Fishing Rod Super Hard Super Light 28 Tone for Reservoir and Pond Platform Fishing

This carbon fishing rod is engineered for anglers who need a tough yet lightweight tool for platform fishing in reservoirs and ponds. Its super-hard blank provides the backbone to handle strong fish, while the super-light construction reduces fatigue over long sessions. Available in a comprehensive range of lengths from 2.7 to 7.2 metres, and in power ratings from 4H to 6H with either 28 or 19 tone action, there is a configuration to match your target species and fishing style. Whether you are after crucian carp or other freshwater species, this rod delivers reliable performance without unnecessary weight.

Features and Construction

Every aspect of this fishing rod is built around practicality and ease of use. The carbon material strikes a balance between stiffness and low weight, making it suitable for repeated casting and quick response to bites.

Material and Build

The rod is constructed from carbon, a material chosen for its high strength-to-weight ratio. This gives the rod its super-hard feel while keeping overall weight down to about 90 grams. The three-section design makes it easy to transport, collapsing to a compact 111mm.

Size and Practical Fit

Length options cover 2.7m, 3.6m, 3.9m, 4.5m, 4.8m, 5.4m, 6.3m, and 7.2m. Power ratings of 4H, 5H, and 6H allow you to match the rod to the fish size and water conditions. The 28 or 19 tone action affects how the rod bends under load, influencing casting distance and hook penetration.

Uses and Placement

This rod is specifically designed for platform fishing, often used in reservoirs, ponds, and similar freshwater environments. Its range of lengths and powers suits both close-range and longer-distance fishing.

Event or Professional Use

For match fishing or club sessions, the lightweight build and quick action help anglers maintain a fast pace without tiring. The super-hard blank ensures positive hooksets even at distance, giving confidence when targeting larger fish.

Everyday Home Use

For recreational fishing on local ponds or reservoirs, this rod offers a comfortable tool that stores easily in a rod bag or car boot. The multiple length options mean you can choose a shorter rod for snaggy banks or a longer one for open water.

Benefits and Buying Value

This rod delivers practical advantages through its material choice and design features. Its performance and portability make it a sensible choice for platform anglers.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Carbon construction resists corrosion and maintains its stiffness over many sessions. Simple rinsing and drying after use are sufficient to keep it in good condition, reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.

Why Choose This Product

If you need a rod that combines stiffness with low weight and offers a wide choice of lengths and powers, this carbon model is a solid option. The inclusion of both 28 and 19 tone actions lets you fine-tune your approach without buying multiple rods.
