Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Headset with Hanging Ear Design in Black Blue Grey

This bone conduction wireless Bluetooth headset offers a practical alternative to traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones by leaving your ear canals open. The hanging ear type design holds the transducer securely against your cheekbone, transmitting sound through vibrations rather than through the ear drum. This makes it useful for runners, cyclists, and office workers who need to hear ambient sounds like traffic or conversations. With Bluetooth 5.0 protocol and a 10-metre transmission range, the headset pairs quickly with smartphones, tablets, and other compatible devices. It supports stereo music playback, call functions, and voice control for hands-free operation. Available in black, blue, and grey, it suits a range of personal styles.

Features and Construction

The headset combines bone conduction technology with modern wireless connectivity for everyday use. Its open-ear design prioritises situational awareness without sacrificing audio functionality.

Open-Ear Bone Conduction

Bone conduction technology sends audio vibrations through your cheekbones directly to the inner ear, bypassing the ear canal. This means you can listen to music or take calls while still hearing environmental sounds such as approaching vehicles, announcements, or colleague conversations. The open-ear fit also reduces ear fatigue during extended wear.

Bluetooth 5.0 with 10-Metre Range

The Bluetooth 5.0 chip provides a stable wireless connection up to 10 metres from your paired device. This range gives you freedom to move around your home, office, or gym without carrying your phone in your hand. The protocol is backward-compatible with earlier Bluetooth versions for broad device support.

Colour Options and Hanging Ear Fit

The headset is available in three colour finishes: black, blue, and grey. The hanging ear type design hooks securely over the ear, keeping the headset in place during activities such as jogging, cycling, or desk work. This ergonomic shape reduces pressure points compared to traditional headbands.

Uses and Placement

This bone conduction headset suits a variety of scenarios where awareness and convenience matter. Its lightweight, open-ear construction makes it adaptable to both active and stationary environments.

Outdoor and Fitness Use

For runners, cyclists, and walkers, the bone conduction design allows you to enjoy music or podcasts while remaining alert to traffic, pedestrians, or warning signals. The hanging ear fit stays secure during movement, and the IP rating (not specified) should be checked for sweat or rain exposure. The 10-metre Bluetooth range means your phone can stay in a pocket or bag.

Office and Desk Use

In an open-plan office, the headset lets you take calls or listen to audio without isolating yourself from colleagues. Voice control enables hands-free answering, and the open ears mean you can hear someone approaching your desk. The neutral colour options (black, blue, grey) blend into professional settings.

Everyday Home and Travel

Around the home, use the headset for hands-free phone calls while cooking or doing chores. On public transport, the open-ear design lets you hear station announcements while still enjoying audio. The compact hanging ear form is easy to pack in a bag.

Benefits and Buying Value

This headset provides practical advantages over sealed-ear designs, especially for users who need to stay connected to their environment. Its core benefits revolve around awareness, convenience, and simplicity.

Situational Awareness

The primary benefit of bone conduction is maintaining hearing of your surroundings. This enhances safety during outdoor activities and keeps you socially present in shared spaces. It eliminates the isolation that can come with noise-cancelling or in-ear headphones.

Hands-Free Operation

With voice control and call function support, you can manage calls and music without touching your phone. This is useful when driving (where legal), cycling, or when your hands are busy. The stereo audio ensures clear sound for both music and conversation.

Reasonable Connectivity for Most Uses

The 10-metre Bluetooth range covers typical distances in a home or gym. Bluetooth 5.0 offers improved energy efficiency compared to older versions, potentially extending battery life per charge (battery details not specified). The three colour options give flexibility to match personal preference.
