5MP Full Colour POE Network Camera H.265 Security Camera with 30m Warm Light Night Vision 360° Pan/Tilt/Rotation 120dB WDR
5MP Full Colour POE Network Camera with 30m Warm Light Night Vision and 360° Coverage
This 5-megapixel POE network camera delivers clear full-colour video day and night, using a built-in warm light illuminator to provide colour footage even in near-darkness down to 0.003 Lux. With a maximum resolution of 2592 × 1944, it captures fine details essential for security and monitoring. The camera supports Power over Ethernet, simplifying installation by combining power and data over a single cable, and offers flexible positioning with a pan range of 0°–360°, tilt of 0°–78°, and rotation of 0°–360°. Its smart codec and H.265 compression help manage bandwidth usage efficiently, while 120 dB wide dynamic range ensures balanced exposure in challenging light conditions. This camera is suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial surveillance applications where reliable colour night vision is required.
Features and Construction
The camera is built around a 1/2.7-inch progressive CMOS sensor and a warm light LED illuminator, providing clear colour video in low light. It includes advanced image processing features such as backlight compensation, highlight compensation, and scene self-adaptation to maintain quality in varied environments.
Image Sensor and Resolution
The 1/2.7-inch progressive CMOS sensor captures up to 5 megapixels (2592 × 1944) at 20 frames per second in the main stream. It also supports multiple resolution options including 4M (2688 × 1520), 1080p, and 720p, allowing flexible setup based on bandwidth and storage needs.
Night Vision and Illumination
A single warm light LED illuminator provides illumination up to 30 metres (98.4 ft), enabling colour night vision. The illuminator can be set to auto or manual control, and the camera operates with a minimum illumination of 0.003 Lux at F1.0, ensuring usability in very dim conditions.
Lens and Mechanical Range
The camera offers a pan range of 0°–360°, tilt of 0°–78°, and rotation of 0°–360°, allowing precise manual positioning. The lens has a fixed focal length (not specified in source), but the mechanical range provides flexible coverage for corners, hallways, and open areas.
Video Compression and Streaming
The camera supports H.265, H.264, H.264H, H.264B, and MJPEG compression, with smart codec and Smart H.265+/Smart H.264+ for efficient storage and bandwidth use. It can simultaneously stream three independent streams with configurable resolution and bitrate.
Stream Capabilities
Three streams are supported: main stream up to 2592 × 1944 at 20 fps, sub stream up to 704 × 576 at 25 fps, and third stream up to 1920 × 1080 at 30 fps. This allows separate streams for high-quality recording, live viewing, and mobile access.
Bitrate and Compression
Bitrate control offers constant bitrate (CBR) and variable bitrate (VBR). H.264 bitrate ranges from 32 kbps to 8192 kbps, while H.265 ranges from 12 kbps to 8192 kbps, providing flexibility to balance quality and bandwidth.
Day/Night and WDR
The camera switches between colour and black-and-white modes automatically or manually, and includes 120 dB wide dynamic range for scenes with both bright and dark areas. Backlight compensation (BLC) and highlight compensation (HLC) are also included, along with scene self-adaptation (SSA).
Benefits and Buying Value
This camera offers practical advantages for security monitoring, including colour night vision without extra floodlights, flexible positioning, and efficient video compression that saves storage space. It is suitable for both indoor and sheltered outdoor use.
Colour Night Vision
The built-in warm light illuminator provides colour footage up to 30 metres, eliminating the need for separate external lighting and reducing false alarms from shadows. This is particularly useful for residential driveways, commercial yards, and warehouse perimeters.
Flexible Installation
With pan/tilt/rotation adjustment and POE support, the camera can be mounted in various locations and angles without additional wiring. The 360° pan range and 78° tilt allow coverage of wide areas from a single installation point.
Why Choose This Product
Combining 5MP resolution, full-colour night vision, and advanced compression, this camera delivers reliable surveillance performance at a competitive price point. Its smart codec and WDR make it suitable for environments with mixed lighting, such as entrances, loading bays, and car parks.
